My name is Adam, I graduated from Universal Therapeutic Massage Institute in 2013. This year marks 10 wonderful years that have given me the opportunity to expand my knowledge in massage therapy. I specialize in Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, and Cupping massage. I have also worked along side physical therapists in a scoliosis clinic for the last two years. That journey has allowed me to learn common pain patterns for everyday individuals, and unique pain patterns for those suffering from scoliosis. Many therapists are hesitant to work on a body with scoliosis, but there is so much one can do to assist those living with everyday pain. I like to drive away from the stigma that many of my clients walk through my door with, and that is "the no pain no gain mentality". One of the biggest lessons working with these wonderful PT's is understanding that sometimes less is more. Introducing the body slowly to bodywork can leave longer positive impacts. The depth of pressure, the length spent on a specific body part and what techniques are used is very important in treating the body. The relief is not always immediate but one thing I want my all my clients to know is that there is still hope and they wont be alone.
